Owen Kahn '27
President
Owen Kahn is a senior at Hampden-Sydney College double-majoring in history and German studies. Originally from North Carolina, he converted to Catholicism from a non-denominational background in high school. He enjoys learning and wants to go onto graduate school for history after this year. In his free time he likes to read, jog, mountain bike, watch movies, and enjoy the company of friends. His favorite Catholic devotions include the Rosary and the Holy Family.
Dash Kent '27
Fellowship Chair
Dash Kent is a senior at Hampden-Sydney College from Dallas, Texas. He was born into a Catholic family and has an older brother in the Navy and a younger sister in high school. His confirmation saint is St. Stephen. At Hampden-Sydney college he is a member of the Wilson Leadership Fellows Program, the Theta Chi Fraternity, the Student Justice System, the Eta Sigma Phi National Honors Society, and the Brazilian Jitsu Club. He loves to travel and has studied abroad in Ireland and Greece. After graduation, he plans to work in politics for pro-life advocacy and family policy.
Matthew Teegardin '29
Faith Formation Chair
Matthew Teegardin is a Sophomore at Hampden-Sydney College double-majoring in Business/Economics and Religion. He is from Charleston, South Carolina. A cradle Catholic, attended Catholic school K-12. He is a proud member of the Hampden-Sydney Golf Team and loves all things golf. He is also a member for the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He is very excited this for CCM this year and looks forward to forming relationships, growing in community and learning more about his Catholic faith!
